# Send Manual Reminders (Email & SMS)

Keeping your candidates engaged is key to a fast hiring process. If you notice a candidate hasn't started the interview, or the interview deadline is approaching, a quick nudge can make all the difference. Next to automated reminders, you can also manually send reminders via email or SMS directly from your dashboard.

## Sending Individual Reminders

If you only need to reach out to one specific candidate, you can do it with just a few clicks.

1. Go to **Invitations** from the main menu, or open a specific interview template and go to the **Invite** tab.
2. Locate the candidate you want to remind.
3. Click the **More actions (...)** menu on the right side of their row.
4. Select **Send reminder** from the dropdown list.
5. In the pop-up modal, choose your preferred delivery method: **Email** or **SMS**, or both.
6. Click **Send reminders** to send the reminder(s).

The candidate's **Last reminder** timestamp in your table will update instantly, so you always know exactly when you last reached out.

## Sending Bulk Reminders

When managing high-volume hiring, sending reminders one at a time is too time-consuming. Use the bulk action feature to nudge dozens of candidates at once.

1. Go to **Invitations** from the main menu, or open a specific interview template and go to the **Invite** tab.
2. Check the boxes next to the names of all the candidates you want to remind.
3. A bulk action bar will automatically appear on your screen. Click **Send reminders**.
4. Choose your delivery method: **Email** or **SMS**, or both.
5. Click to send your batch of reminders.
