Share links are designed for **viewing**, not for managing or evaluating candidates. | Creating external share links is a permission restricted strictly to Recruiter and Admin roles to ensure data privacy and security. | In some integrated cases, CV links may be passed back to your ATS to review the completed interview using this link. | A CV link is always secured using a predefined number of days and clicks to determine its validity. Whatever criterion is reached first, the link expires. The default validity is an account setting, e.g. 30 days and 20 clicks. || A share link gives access to candidate data. Only share it with people who are authorized to view candidate information for this hiring process. --- ## 1. The Fastest Way: The Quick Share Icon If you are in a rush and just need to send a standard viewing link immediately, use the Quick Share tool. 1. Open a candidate's completed interview to access their **Interview Analysis Page**. 2. Look at the top bar menu, located above the candidate's video and details. 3. Creating a Custom Share Link If you need more control over the specific data shared, you will want to build a custom link using the **Share** tab. 1. On the **Interview Analysis Page**, go to the tabs located just below the media player. 2. Click on the **Share** tab. 3. Click the **Create new link** button to open the configuration menu. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/2/d/8/c/2d8ceb79554a0200/create-share-link_kgf45c.png =844xauto) ##### Step 1: Configuring Settings & Security In the **Share Settings** tab of the menu, you have complete control over what the external viewer can see and how long they have access to it. * **Link Name:** Give your link an internal title so you can easily identify it later (e.g., "Marketing Team Review"). * **Candidate Name Visibility:** Choose how the candidate is identified to the viewer. You can display their **full** name, **first only**, or keep it completely **hidden** for anonymous reviewing. * **Security Constraints:** Set the **Expiration** (how many days the link remains active) and the **Max views** (how many times the link can be opened). The platform will automatically apply the account default setting. You can adjust this, but you can only adjust it to a lower number than the account default. * **Content Toggles:** Use the toggle switches to decide exactly which metadata fields the viewer can see. You can hide or reveal the **Interview title**, **Inviter** details, **Duration**, **Date/Time**, **Transcripts**, **Candidate feedback**, and even the **Average reviewer score**. | Anti-Bias Tip: We strongly recommend keeping the **Average reviewer score** hidden from external stakeholders so they can evaluate the candidate with a fresh perspective, without being influenced by your team's initial ratings. ##### Step 2: Curating the Video Content You do not always need to share the entire interview. If a candidate had a poor response to one question but nailed the rest of the interview, you can curate their presentation to highlight their best moments. 1. Inside the link creation menu, click on the **Select Content** tab. 2. You will see a list of all the candidate's recorded answers. 3. Use the checkboxes to cherry-pick exactly which video clips you want to include in the share link. Any unchecked answers will be completely hidden from the external viewer. 4. Click **Save** to generate your unique URL. --- ## 3. Managing Your Active Links Once your link is created, it will appear in the **Link Overview Table** on the Share tab. From here, you can manage its lifecycle: * **Copy & Share:** Click the copy icon next to the URL to copy it to your clipboard, ready to paste into an email or messaging app. * **Track Engagement:** Check the **Clicks** column to see how many times your link has been viewed versus the maximum allowed (e.g., 1 / 5). * **Edit or Delete:** Click the **Actions** menu (the three dots `...`) next to any link to edit its visible content, or permanently delete it to instantly revoke access. | Note: Expiration dates and Max Views become locked once the link is created for security purposes. If you need to extend access, simply create a new link. --- ## 4. What Does the External Viewer See? When your Hiring Manager or client clicks the link, they are taken to a clean, distraction-free viewing environment. They will not see the standard Cammio navigation menus. They will simply see the video player, the specific recordings you authorized in the playlist, and only the information you explicitly toggled "on" in your link settings. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/2/d/8/c/2d8ceb79554a0200/cv-share-link-page_eiku6p.png) --- ## Troubleshooting | Issue | What's happening | How to fix it | | ---- | | The viewer says the link doesn't work | Link may be revoked/expired or pasted incorrectly | Re-open **Share** tab and copy the link again. If needed, generate a new link. | | The viewer can't see what I expected | Share permissions/settings may limit what's shown | Check your share settings in the **Share** tab and re-send the link if changed. | | I'm worried the link was forwarded | Anyone with the link may access it | Revoke/disable the link immediately and generate a new one only for the correct recipient. | ##### Adding Authentication to the Share Link The whole idea of the share link is that the recipient does not need a Cammio user account to view a completed interview. In some cases (e.g. integrated use cases), the CV link might be used by default to review completed interviews. Cammio offers authentication for this link which adds an additional security layer. To view a CV link, the person then needs to have a Cammio user account. Cammio introduced the user role "CV Viewer" for the specific purpose of accessing CV links. To make user management and accessing as simple as possible for all stakeholders such as Hiring Managers, Cammio offers Single-Sign-On.
