Edit or Delete Library Items
Whether you need to refine a question, update a media title, or clear out outdated content, managing your Library items is quick and straightforward.
Just keep in mind: When you add a Library item to an interview setup, Cammio creates a copy inside that template. That means deleting a Library item does not remove it from existing interview templates where it was already used. You can confidently clean up your Library without worrying about breaking any active interview templates.
Editing a Library Item
All editing happens inside the Item Viewer, the full-screen detail page for any question or media item.
- Navigate to the Library from your main left-hand menu.
- Locate the item you want to change in either the Questions or Media tab.
- Click on the item's row to open the full-screen Item Viewer.
- Make your necessary changes in the right-hand panel to the text, notes, owner, tags or language.
- Changes will automatically be saved.

Editing a Media Item
The editing experience for media items is identical, with one difference: you edit the internal Title instead of question text. Candidates never see this title — it's purely for your team's reference.
Deleting Library Items
You can delete items one at a time or in bulk.
Delete a Single Item
- In the Library list, find the item you want to remove.
- Click the ... (Actions) menu at the end of its row.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears.
Delete Multiple Items at Once
- Use the checkboxes on the left of each row to select the items you want to delete.
- Once items are selected, the bulk action bar appears — click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears.
What Happens to Deleted Items?
Deleting a Library item does not affect any interview setups it was already added to. When a question or media item is added to a setup, Cammio creates an independent copy, so your existing interviews will continue to work exactly as before.
However, once an item is deleted from the Library it can no longer be reused or pulled into new setups. Make sure you no longer need an item before removing it.
