How to Track Candidate Progress and Invitation Status

Keeping a close eye on your candidate pipeline is essential, especially when managing high-volume hiring workflows. Cammio provides two distinct ways to monitor your candidates' progress: a global overview across all your templates, and a detailed view inside your specific interview template setup.



1. Inside an Interview Template (Invite Tab)


When you want to focus strictly on the candidate pipeline for one specific job role or interview template, use the template-level view.


  1. Go to your Templates overview from the main menu.
  2. Click on the active automated interview you want to monitor.
  3. Go to the Invite tab.
  4. View the candidate list. This table strictly displays applicants who were invited to this specific template.



2. Invitations Overview (Bird's-Eye View)


If you are managing multiple active jobs at once, the global Invitations overview page is your command center. It allows you to see all recent invitation activity in one centralized list.


  1. Go to Invitations from the main sidebar menu on the left-hand side.
  2. Here, you will see a master list of all candidates invited across all your interviews.


Tip: On this page, there are also tabs for automated Interviews and Live Interviews. Go to the automated Interviews tab if you only want to see those. Your browser will remember your last view when you come back later!


  1. Use the Search bar to quickly locate a specific candidate by name or email.



3. Understanding Invitation Statuses


In both tracking views, you will see a status badge next to each candidate's name. Here is what they mean for your workflow:


  • Invitation Sent: The invitation has been successfully delivered, but the candidate has not taken any action yet.
  • Invitation Opened: The candidate has opened the email and clicked the invitation link.
  • Interview Started: The candidate is currently in the process of recording their responses or has paused their session.
  • Deadline Approaching: This status is displayed when the current time is within 48 hours of the candidate's deadline.
  • Deadline Expired: The current date and time have passed the deadline, and the candidate did not complete the interview.


If a candidate's status is "Expired," they can no longer access the interview link unless you extend the interview deadline.
