Set Live Interview Scoring Instructions

To make fair and unbiased hiring decisions, your hiring team needs a standardized way to evaluate candidates. By adding custom scoring instructions to your Live Interview template, you ensure every reviewer knows exactly what criteria to use when rating the candidate after the call concludes.



How to Add Scoring Instructions


  1. Go to your Live Interview template.
  2. Click on the Scoring tab at the top of the setup menu.
  3. Locate the Scoring instructions text box.
  4. Type or paste your evaluation guidelines.
Tip: Keep your instructions clear and actionable. For example, define exactly what a 5-star rating means for this specific role so all reviewers are aligned.
  1. Click Save to apply your criteria to the template.


The instructions you set here will be pinned right above the rating scale on the candidate's Interview Analysis page, giving reviewers a clear reference point while they submit their feedback.




Assigning Reviewers


Once your instructions are set, you can use the Reviewers module on this same page to assign specific team members to the interview. When the live interview is completed, these assigned reviewers will be notified to visit the Interview Analysis page, where they will see your instructions and submit their scores.
