Viewing candidate submissions
Reviewing the Interview
Welcome to the redesigned Interview Analysis page! We've rebuilt this interface from the ground up to provide a more unified, intuitive, and efficient experience for everyone involved in the hiring process, including recruiters, reviewers, and external (CV-link) viewers.
This guide will walk you through the new layout, features, and workflows.
The new interview analysis page is currently only available for pre-recorded (automated) interviews. Live interviews still use the older version, but will also be updated to the new experience in the near future.
1. Page Layout: At a Glance
The new page is organized into four main quadrants for clarity and ease of use:

- Top Navigation Bar: Contains high-level interview information and key management actions.
- Main Player Area (Left): The large, central space where you can watch or review the selected candidate answer.
- Side Panel (Right): This panel allows you to navigate between candidate responses and view their transcripts side-by-side with the video.
- Information Tabs (Bottom): A set of tabs below the player to access specific details, conduct reviews, and share the interview.
2. The Side Panel: Responses & Transcripts
The panel on the right side of the screen is your primary tool for navigating the interview content.
2.1 Responses Playlist
This is the default view in the side panel.

- Navigate with Ease: Seamlessly switch between questions using the ← / → arrow buttons in the player or by clicking directly on a question in the playlist. The currently selected question will be loaded in the Main Player.
- Status Messages: The playlist will display clear messages for any non-standard situations, such as a video that is still processing, a failed conversion, or a question the candidate did not answer.
2.2 Transcripts
Click the "Transcript" tab at the top of the side panel to view a text version of the candidate's spoken answers. This provides a powerful side-by-side view with the video player.
Transcriptions are only visible if this feature is enabled on both account- & interview template level.

Core Features:
- Autoscroll: The transcript scrolls automatically as the video/audio plays.
- Clickable Timestamps: Click any timestamp in the transcript to jump to that exact moment in the recording.
- Search, Copy, & Download: You can search for keywords, copy text, or download available transcripts for the interview as text (.txt) files. Text answers are also included in the download file.
3. Information Tabs: Details, Review, Share
Below the main player, you'll find a series of tabs to manage the candidate and your evaluation.
3.1 Details Tab
This tab provides key metadata about the candidate and the interview itself. For Recruiter users, a button to Export as Excel is also available here.

3.2 Reviews Tab
This is the central hub for the entire evaluation process.
New: Review Mode Selection
The review format is determined during interview setup. We now offer two modes:
- Question-based Review: Rate each of the candidate's answers individually.
- One Overall Review: Provide a single, holistic rating for the entire interview.

If Review Instructions are added in the interview template settings, they will be displayed at the top of this tab to guide you.

3.3 How to Submit a Review
- Question-based: For each question, provide a star rating (1-5 stars) and optional written feedback. The Overall Score is automatically calculated as the average of your question ratings.
- One Overall: Provide a single, overall star rating (1-5 stars) and add your comprehensive feedback in the text box.

- Locking: Reviewing is disabled once a candidate's status is changed to Approved,Declined, orHired.
